It is reported that Taiwan's Chung Hung Steel, the subsidiary of China Steel Corporation, has released the price policy for domestic market for August 2011 delivery. The company decided to keep the prices of hot rolled steel, hot dipped galvanized steel and cold galvanized steel unchanged. However, it cut the prices of cold rolled steel by TWD 500 per tonne.
After the adjustment, its latest prices of hot rolled steel for single-rolling plant are at TWD 21,000 to TWD 21,200 per tonne; that for coiler and steel pipe plant is at TWD 22,000 to TWD 22,200 per tonne. Meanwhile, the latest prices of cold rolled steel are at TWD 24,700 to TWD 25,200 per tonne; that of hot dipped galvanized steel is at TWD 23,500 to TWD 24,000 per tonne and that of cold galvanized steel is at TWD 25,100 to TWD 25,400 per tonne.
